PinkHouse Distillery is based in the village of Bishopthorpe, York hidden behind a pretty pink house. Initially a dream stemming from a lifelong passion for gin and a pile of distilling books, our founder Michelle has brought that dream to reality.
Michelle has spent months studying the distilling process, developing and handcrafting the perfect recipe in a small copper still. Her hard work and determination has finally brought PinkHouse Distillery to launch and Michelle now creates our refreshing gin in her garden distillery in small 50L batches.
The distillery garden is the perfect place to grow botanicals to use in our recipes, reinforcing our ethos to only use the freshest, locally sourced ingredients wherever possibly we can. Alongside the essential notes of juniper, botanicals including coriander, Angelica, thyme, lemon balm, olive leaf, oregano, rosemary, heather and lemon and grapefruit peel are all loaded into the glass stills and once the process is complete we leave the gin to mature in barrels leaving a refreshing smooth premium gin with a taste unique to our brand.
From the distilling process itself, the bottling, labelling and packaging of our gin are all are completed by hand ensuring no compromises are made with quality or taste.
We don’t think you can beat a traditional G&T and our dry English gin is perfect over ice with a citrus garnish. Whether you are looking to impress guests with a cocktail, (or just treat yourself!) both of our products work perfectly as a gin base.
